I am an advanced Certified CranioSacral Therapist, a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and a State and Board Certified Massage Therapist. I was trained in CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute, Lymphedema Therapy at the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy at the Chikly Institute.

I love CranioSacral Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy because I have seen how adults and children with complex physical and emotional issues can be helped enormously by these therapies.  Achieving an optimal balance of the body systems through gentle techniques to ease restrictions and somatic emotional release techniques, benefits development, pain levels, stress management, nervous system problems, circulation issues, swelling, the immune system, and helps the body to detoxify much more efficiently.

I currently have a private practice in Sedona, AZ, and one in Phoenix, AZ where I work with clients with a range of concerns, such as neurological problems, physical and emotional trauma, back and joint pain, lymphedema and problems caused by a disruption to the lymphatic system.

I am passionate about this work because it seems that it is often a missing link in people’s healing process. Emotions that are locked in our cellular memory often hold us back from a more complete physical recovery. On a lighter note, minor adjustments using the craniosacral system as a guide can balance our nervous system and leave us free of pain.

Prior to having children, I worked in the financial world. I have a BA from London University in German, worked in banking for 6 years in London and Frankfurt, and I have an MBA majoring in finance from Loyola University, Chicago.

Raquel Rotnes LMT, CST

My name is Raquel Rotnes and I have been working nationally and internationally with the healing arts since 1986. In my practice I share Art Therapy, Feng Shui, Advanced CranioSacral and Bioaquatics Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Massage Therapy, Aura- Soma® Color Therapy, Dolphin Assisted Therapy and Life Line Technique.

My work is connected to my healing journey; each one of the modalities entered my life during personal transitions and as I experienced positive changes and transformation, I felt the urge to share.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and lived in Israel for 15 years before I moved in 1999 to the USA.

I speak Portuguese, Spanish, Hebrew, French and English and I am a mother to David, Naomi and Ma’ayan.

I recall my relationship with the Water Element since I was three years old when my mother took me everyday to the beach. I learned to love the ocean and place my dreams and visions in the water to observe the flow.
